Network Setup

Every full install of PRPay Software for a network (client / server) environment requires three things:

• Meet the minimum hardware requirements
• Perform a stand-alone setup
• Map a drive letter on each workstation (see below)

Network installation

The steps below will guide you through installing PRPay on server. Before you do this, please follow the instructions for stand-alone setup steps 1 through 6.

To map a drive letter to a network computer or folder:

1. Open Windows Explorer.
2. Select Tools > Map Network Drive.
3. In Drive, select the drive letter to map to the shared resource.
4. In Folder, type the server and share name of the resource, in the form of \\servername\sharename. Or click Browse to locate the resource.
5. Click OK to assign the letter.
6. Create a new folder on the mapped drive called PRPay Data (or PRPay, or whatever you like).
7. Start the PRPay application from your local PC.
8. Click Help > Change data path.
9. Select the new letter and browse to the newly created folder named PRPay Data.
10. Click OK to accept the change.
